Jason Toledo founded CART HORSE in 2015 as a shingle to cover his and collaborators' work in audiovisual design, content for television, film, and digital channels, marketing for creative agencies, brands, and nonprofits, and on and on (we work on a wide swath of projects in many different media).
Jason has a deep background in audiovisual storytelling and design, first as an award-winning short film director, then in broadcast and digital news (including NBC News, VICE News, and HBO), and now as a multimedia specialist for agencies and businesses.
CART HORSE specializes in impactful, emotional, ultra-polished communications. Our bread and butter is post-production editorial, but we’re equally comfortable on set — shooting, lighting, directing actors, conducting interviews, running sound, etc.
We’re often called up for projects outside the traditional, like a patient education video in virtual reality for a cancer treatment by Johnson & Johnson; re-designing Patrón Tequila commercials for giant, wrap-around screens; or projecting video live onto models' costumes during an international hair show (all real examples).
We’ve also done a host of more familiar projects, like awards submissions, case studies, “sizzles,” and brand showcases.
We’re highly scalable and have managed budgets from low four to high six figures (and been a crucial part of content and marketing deals in the tens of millions).
